Abstract. We have conducted a complex of archeoseismological works in Mirmekii ancient town. It belong to Bosporus Kingdom (Crimea). There were revealed numerous destructions and deformations of buildings in archeological excavations: ruptures displacing the walls, significant tilt of entire walls of the buildings, rotations of wall fragments and separate stones around vertical axis. This deformation complex testifies on their seismogenic origin. We have revealed traces of few strong earthquakes (3–5 during first millennium BC and 2 during first centuries AD). For some of them we could reveal the directions of maximum seismic oscillations. Intensity of the seismic oscillations were I0 ≤ IX. Obtained data coukd serve of a purpose of more reliable seismic hazard assessment for Crimea Peninsula, as well as for assessment of contribution of natural disasters in civilization development.
